Air pollution is not something you can notice easily: a good approach is to watch it from above as you can see in the pictures below

Notice the diference far away in the back: on a pollution free day, you can see the blue shades of mountains. When there is pollution, you cannot see anything. BOTH PICTURES WERE TAKEN ON A SUNNY DAY
